Sandy has been practicing yoga for 8 years and teaching for 5. Her classes are energetic flow practices that challenge the body, mind and spirit.  The poses are carefully choreographed to move and flow with the breath.  Her study of yoga and teaching style continually evolve as she learns from observing all those who come to share in the classes.  Sandy's practice is strongly influenced by her teacher Caru Candra ( asana, pranayama, meditation, kriyas and philosophy), and he teachings of Shiva Rea (vinyasa flow).  She has also recently completed a 250 hr training in the Anusara Yoga™ Tradition with Chris Chavez.

Lester studied and practised yoga in his twenties and after a hiatus of many years, resumed his practice in a more serious way in 2002. Since then, he received a teacher training certificate through Moksana Yoga in Victoria and has been teaching at Deep Cove Yoga. His main focus is Vinyasa Flow Yoga with a strong Ashtanga influence. He is a registered member of The Yoga Alliance.

Vanessa began her practice 5 years ago...
"I first hit the mat in 2006 while studying at university. Having spent the greater part of my life 'working out' at the gym, I was somewhat skeptical of what 'yoga' was and what it could 'do' for my body. I was instantly struck by the practice, not knowing what was different, just that it was like nothing I had ever experienced before. Curious to learn more I went back, again and again. And so here I am five years later, totally devoted to the practice, heart full of gratitude for its boundless offerings and the changes it has made to my life."
Vanessa completed her teacher training in 2008/09 with Todd Inouye at Yogapod Inc. in North Vancouver. She is strongly influenced by the Anusara Yoga Tradition, moving first and foremost from a place of heart. In this way, moving from the "inside out," as a means to unite body, mind, and spirit.
In addition to teaching adults, Vanessa is also a Children's Yoga Instructor and is very passionate about working with children in this way. To learn more please visit: www.storyoga.com
Meagan
I grew up and now reside in the Victoria BC area. After having completed my foundational Hatha/Vinyasa 200hr yoga teacher training course with Natalie Rousseau-Horscroft (E-RYT 500 Anusara-InspiredTM Yoga Teacher) with Coastal Bliss Yoga in my former home of Tofino B.C., I am excited to share what I have learnt on my path to greater health and wellness with others. The Anusara style and philosophies are a constant inspiration to me and my personal practice, and I will continue to take this approach when teaching my students.
I love teaching yoga as it allows me a greater understanding of the human body and mind. I want to help others cultivate personal and universal compassion. To help my students to understand, as my teacher once taught me, that we are all great teachers with something unique and valuable to share. That everything essential for living a joyous, abundant and full life is inside of each and every one of us.      -Namaste – The divine light in me sees and recognizes the divine light in you.

Judi
started practicing yoga in 2000 and completed her 250hr teacher training through Moksana Yoga in Victoria. Yoga is transformative and encourages her to find peace and approach life full of compassion.  By attuning our awareness into the present moment we can find inspiration in life and a balance between Sthira (strength) and Sukha (ease). These qualities are woven throughout her classes and can create a firm foundation for openness and freedom. At present, Judi attempts to be a gracious, patient mother and secondary school teacher.  She practices and teaches Hatha/Flow yoga and is learning to arise, abide and dissolve through all asana.

Suze has been practicing yoga since the early 2000’s and completed her 300hr training in Victoria.  She is currently working towards her 500hr training in yoga therapy and
can be found teaching classes throughout Victoria and the greater Victoria area.
When not practicing/teaching yoga or balancing her entrepreneurial endevours, Suze can be found running, cycling and spending time outdoors.
